About

At home everywhere.

I’m often told that it feels like I’ve lived dozens of lives after I share stories or provide insight into my 40+ years on this planet. Traveling the world as a child with my family, my father a B-52 pilot, consistently moving every few years. So many pivotal milestones from earning my Eagle Scout badge to navigating marriage, divorce, and the early death of both of my parents as a young man, as well as exploring and leading expeditions around our world from the Amazon to the Arctic. Reflecting back I can see the numerous moments of ceremony, growth, grief, love, learning, and a endless cycle of learning opportunities. Grateful for each one as they’ve shaped my mind and heart in a way that I feel I know inside and out, truly.

I have been or am currently a Coastal Kayaking Instructor, Climbing Guide, Nordic & Alpine Skiing Instructor, WFR, Outdoor Emergency Care (NSP), AIARE 2, Flat & Whitewater Canoe Instructor, Stand-up Paddleboard (SUP) Instructor, Pilot, PPG 2 Paramotorer, Boat Captain, Sailor, NYPUM Dirt Bike Instructor, Motorcycle Racer, Telemark Skier, Cyclist, Pianist, Carpenter, Gardener, Beekeeper, Breathwork Facilitator, Biohacker, Surfer, Father, Lover of Life, Gear Guru, Motivational Speaker, Reality TV Personality, Backcountry Travel Guide, General Wilderness and High Altitude Mountain Guide, Biochemist & Molecular Biologist, and Psychonaut.
